An independent data partner, not an agency
Senior, hands-on data expertise — without the layers, handoffs, and overheads of a large consultancy.
Why Thrive Data exists
Most organisations do not need an enterprise data programme. They need someone experienced to help them make sense of their data, modernise their reporting, and build analytics platforms that are reliable, scalable, and easy to maintain — and then to step back, leaving the team more capable than before.
Thrive Data was set up to be exactly that: a trusted senior data partner for organisations that want practical solutions without unnecessary complexity. The person you speak to is the person who does the work — with deep experience across Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure, data engineering, and data governance, gained in complex data environments.
How we approach the work
- Practical over perfect. We build what your organisation needs now, on foundations that can grow — not the biggest platform the technology allows.
- Plain English. We translate between technical and non-technical teams, and we explain decisions and trade-offs honestly, including the option of doing less.
- Enablement built in. Documentation, training, and handover are part of every engagement. Success looks like your team needing us less, not more.
- Independent advice. We do not resell software or take referral fees. Recommendations are based on what fits you.
Who we work with
We work mainly with charities, third-sector organisations, and purpose-led or growing businesses — typically organisations where reporting has become fragmented, leadership needs better visibility of performance, and the data, finance, or operations team is stretched.
Many of the people we work with are not deeply technical, and that is fine. Part of the job is making data understandable, so that decisions about it can be made confidently by the people who run the organisation.
